Our founder

Pastor Richards was born August 23, 1948 to Howard and Christell Richards in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.In 1975 at the age of 25 he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. A year later, on December 12, 1976 he accepted his call into the Ministry. He immediately began to flourish under the mentorship of the late Reverend Doctor A. Paul Jones. He continued his education by attending Conroe Normal and Industrial College obtaining a Bachelor of Theology (1980), and also attended Golden Gate Seminary Extension of the Southern Baptist Convention earning a Diploma in Pastoral Ministries; graduating Magna Cum Laude (1986). He faithfully served in the ministry as a Pastor and Teacher at: • Friendship Baptist Church (Seaside, CA 1987-1993) • Greater Immanuel Baptist Church (Sacramento, CA 2001-2003) • Grace Missionary Baptist Church (Sacramento, CA 2003-2019)  For 42 years, Pastor Richards strived to build a solid foundation and spiritual direction while doing the work of the Lord. He was a Bible-Teacher, a spirit-filled Preacher. On March 24th, 2019, Pastor Richards was called from labor to reward.
